The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued a final rule that
addresses lead based paint hazards created by renovation, repair, and
painting activities. The requires renovation contractors, maintenance
workers, painters*, and other specialty tradesmen who disturb painted
surfaces during their work to become RRP certified.
This law will fully take effect on April 22, 2010. Renovators will be
required to apply for certification from the EPA.
AAGIE will hold 2 RRP certification trainings. Seating is very limited.

This 8 hour course is based upon the California
Apartment Association (CAA) Managing Rental
Housing Manual.
The course will assist owners and operators of
residential rental housing in the State of
California in keeping up with the changes in
laws, regulations and policies enforced at local,
state and federal levels of government.
8 Hour course divided into the four major
categories of rental housing operations:
“Creating the Tenancy”,
“During the Tenancy”,
“Terminating the Tenancy”,
